Top hedge fund seeks pre-MBA Analyst for the New York team. For nearly two decades we have been one of the most successful and prestigious multi-strategy hedge funds globally. The reason for our success is simple - we recruit and hire only elite people. Our team is comprised of the brightest minds in finance and we will be adding an Analyst to our ranks this spring.
The new Analyst (most junior career level at our firm) will be a part of Quantitative Research team focused on fixed income trading strategies. As such, the ideal candidate was a top quartile graduate from a top tier University. We are looking for a junior level professional or current undergrad senior with a passion for the markets, a brilliant quantitative mind, the emotional maturity of a well tenured Wall Street vet, and highly refined communication abilities.
Requirements
• Bachelors degree in Finance, Economics or Physics with a pronounced emphasis on Mathematics or Statistics
• GPA of 3.5+ from top tier university such as MIT, Cal Tech, Stanford, Harvard, etc… Dartmouth, University of Chicago, etc…
• GPA of 3.8+ from a non-top tier school
• Advanced Excel
• Intermediate VBA
• Understanding of the fixed income markets
• Desire and ability to complete the CFA or MFE
